Wonder Woman Fashion Highlights

The release of the new Wonder Woman film follows with a flurry of new fashion products. We’re still waiting on those high-end brands to launch their designs (Hilfiger, Louis Vuitton and Karl Lagerfeld to name a few), but for now, here are Vogue One’s Wonder Woman fashion highlights so far!

The initial reviews of Wonder Woman are out and they are looking good. VERY good. I am ridiculously excited to go see it. You know what else is pretty cool? The vast amount and huge variety of Wonder Woman fashion that’s on offer! Let’s take a look at some of what Vogue One thinks are the best pieces…

Everybody loves Converse and they do the best collaborations. They’ve teamed up with Looney Tunes, Green Day, The Simpsons, Nintendo and many, many more. This isn’t their first Wonder Woman design, but it is a more recent Wonder Woman than we’ve seen previously. This modern, more detailed high top design doesn’t have the bright colour scheme associated with the original Wonder Woman like older Converse designs, but it still packs a punch. Pair them with skinny jeans or give an everyday Wonder Woman cosplay a more casual look. You can grab a pair from Schuh for £55 (students get 10% off)!

Paul & Joe Sister

Sitting at the more expensive end of the scale are a few things from Paul & Joe Sister. They’ve had these designs out for a while now, but that doesn’t make them any less relevant. You can buy these Wonder Woman tee, jumper and dungarees from Asos. More expensive, yes, but there is so much more attention to detail and a more diverse range of fabrics/techniques used in these designs. The appliqué jumper, the sheer-backed tee and how cute are those printed dungarees with the star straps?!

Soft Kitty Clothing

Quite possibly the best bag ever: Red perspex clutch bag, with the classic Wonder Woman logo, long chain strap and floating star confetti. Although you can’t fit everything in here, it can still hold a fair amount of stuff. Plus, it looks so bloody amazing and magical.

Nous Sommes des Héros

French jewellery company Nous Sommes des Héros have a HUGE range of wonderful geek themed rings, necklaces, earrings, cufflinks and many more. A while back, I ordered their I Am The Amazon ring and holy crap is it beautiful! Being handmade, it has a slight rugged look to it, but that only adds to the charm of it. I Am The Amazon isn’t available online, but there is an I Am The Tiara alternative, which is equally as lovely. If you’re looking for a piece of jewellery that only a few people own, handmade an independent company, then Nous Sommes des Héros is for you!

Her Universe

Released last month, Her Universe’s new Wonder Woman collection features a great range of products, from tops and jackets to sportswear. A couple of pieces Vogue One love are this reversible dress and faux leather jacket.  The dress has the new Wonder Woman costume in print form on one side, and logo print on the other if you want something a little more subtle. Two dresses in one? Not bad at all. The jacket is all kinds of awesome and perfect to throw on over any outfit. I feel like a raglan would give it a more relaxed and less boxy look, but the sleeve it does have reflects Wonder Woman’s power and strength. Maybe it’s just the size of the jacket the model’s wearing? I don’t know, it just looks a little off somehow in the cut of the sleeve. Still a brilliant piece though! There are loads of places you can buy these online and at Hot Topic in the US, for UK Wonder Woman fans you can order from EMP.

Those are Vogue One’s Wonder Woman fashion favourites! We think there’s a pretty good mix of things that have subtle Wonder Woman references, as well as plenty for the fans who like to show their love for the most badass Amazonian Princess.
